Viewing Subscriptions on the Customer Page
On the Customer page, merchants can see the number of subscriptions associated with each customer.
This provides a quick way to identify which customers have active, cancelled, or trialing subscriptions without needing to open each customer record individually.
Viewing Subscriptions on Customer Details
Within Customer Details, merchants can view the full list of subscriptions associated with the selected customer.
This gives a more detailed view of each subscription tied to that customer record.
Subscription Details
Each subscription displays the following information:
Title: Payment Link name
Status: Active, Cancelled, or Trialing
Amount: Subscription amount and billing interval
Current Period: The current billing period for the subscription
Renewal: The next billing date
These details help merchants understand the current status and billing schedule of each subscription.
Cancelling a Subscription
Merchants can cancel a customer’s subscription directly from the subscription details view by clicking Cancel Subscription.
When selected, a confirmation modal is displayed with two cancellation options:
Cancel Immediately
If the merchant chooses to cancel the subscription immediately and confirms the action:
The cancellation modal will close
The subscription status will change to Cancelled
Any scheduled future payments for that subscription will stop
Cancel on a Specific Date
Merchants may also choose to cancel a subscription on a specific date.
When using this option:
A date must be entered using the date picker
The selected date must be greater than the current date
Dates prior to or equal to the current date cannot be selected
The date must be validated in dd/mm/yyyy format
Once confirmed, the subscription will remain active and continue billing normally until the end of the billing period that includes the selected date. At that point, the subscription will not renew.
Deleting a Customer
If a customer is deleted, all active subscriptions associated with that customer will also be cancelled.
This ensures that no recurring payments remain active for a customer record that no longer exists.
Tips
Review subscription details carefully before cancelling
Use immediate cancellation when billing should stop right away
Use scheduled cancellation when the subscription should remain active until a future date
Double-check the selected cancellation date before confirming
Keep in mind that deleting a customer will cancel all active subscriptions tied to that customer
