Step 1: Create a Payment Link
From the left-hand navigation menu, select Payment Links.
Click + Create Payment Link in the top-right corner.
Enter an internal-facing name for the payment link. This name is used for internal organization and helps your team identify the link.
Step 2: Add Products
After naming the payment link, add the products you want customers to purchase through the link.
Click + Add Product.
You can either:
Search for an existing product that has already been created
Click + Add New to create a new product
When creating a new product, complete the following fields:
Product name
Description
Product image
Pricing
After entering the product details, click Add Product.
Repeat this process for each product you want to include.
Note: Products used in Payment Links are managed through the Products page. You can search for previously created products during setup, or create a new product directly from the payment link workflow. For more detailed instructions on creating and managing products, please refer to the Products knowledge base article.
Step 3: Add Recommended Products
You may also add recommended products that will be presented to the customer during checkout.
Click + Add Recommended Product.
As with standard products, you can either search for an existing product or click + Add New to create one.
Step 4: Preview the Checkout Experience
On the right-hand side of the payment link creation page, you will see a preview of the customer-facing checkout experience.
You can toggle between:
Payment Page
After Payment
This preview helps confirm how the payment link will appear before it is shared with customers.
Step 5: Share the Link
Once the payment link is ready, click Copy Link and share it with your customer by email, text, or chat.
When the customer opens the link, they will see a secure Lumino-hosted checkout page where they can review available products and complete their purchase.
Step 6: Edit or Deactivate the Link
To edit a payment link, click the edit (pencil) icon next to the link.
To deactivate a payment link, click Deactivate.
If a payment link has been deactivated, customers attempting to access it will see the following message:
Oops! This payment link isn’t available anymore.
Please contact the person who shared it with you for more information.
Step 7: View Payment Link Details
Click any payment link to view its history and activity, including:
Creation date
Edit history
Payments received through the link
Step 8: Track Transactions
Payments collected through payment links are also visible under Dashboard → Transactions.
This allows you to view payment details, transaction history, and timestamps across your account.
