Setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a one-time code from an authenticator app each time you sign in.

  1. Complete Initial Sign-Up

    • Enter your name, email, and password.

    • Check your email for a 6-digit verification code and enter it when prompted to verify your email address.

  2. Begin 2FA Setup

    • Once your email is verified, you’ll be guided to the Two-Factor Authentication setup screen.

  3. Download Your Authenticator App

    • You can use any compatible authenticator app, such as:

      • Google Authenticator

      • Microsoft Authenticator

  4. Scan the QR Code

    • Open your chosen authenticator app and select Scan QR Code.

    • Point your phone’s camera at the QR code displayed on your screen.

  5. Enter the Verification Code

    • Your authenticator app will display a 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds.

    • Enter this code in the “Verification Code” field on your screen, then click Complete Setup.

  6. Ongoing Usage

    • Going forward, you’ll enter both your password and a 6-digit code from your authenticator app when signing in.
